This is just a little section where I write about the comics I read or the comics I write.  I read this awesome comic yesterday by a lady named Katherine Arnoldi called "The Amazing True Story of a Teenage Single Mom".  Got it from the library, was a pretty beat-up copy (came out in '98) but is now prominently placed in the Graphic Novel section.  I also read SiP's "David's Story".  Not one of Moore's better ones.

And of course I read Volume 12 (the last issue) of Gravitation.  Now I love this series and would readily bow down at the feet of Murakami any day but the ending seems too ... happy.  Don't read further if you don't want spoilers!

I was certain she was thinking of killing off Reiji and for the most part I think her fan base wouldn't have minded.  But something tells me she changed it at the last minute.  Yuki and Shuichi are going to the US of A but I hope that thing about following in Ryu's footsteps as an actor was a joke.  The thing that made me love Gravitation was the whole music aspect; loving your idols and having them let you down and creating something of your own out of it.  She might continue the series but I don't know if I want to read about breaking into acting and the whole Hollywood mess if that's the direction she's gonna go in.  I dunno, I'm not making sense here.  Just speculating.  So I want to work on a tribute (fan?) comic but not in the whole manga-style b/c there's no WAY I can draw like that.  And it will be all about that little bugger Suguru Fujisaki.
